Beliefs & Values
What We Believe
The scripture tells us in 1 Peter 2:4-5 as we come to God like living stones we are chosen “in order that we may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Being a living stone is proclaiming the mighty acts of Christ. It means getting involved and living out your faith.
The community of faith of Living Stones Baptist Church can be summarized by the following:
Wisdom….from ages past
Maturity …. for the present
Building ….for the coming age!
Salvation
The centrality of Jesus Christ as the pathway to salvation and eternal life.
-
Philippians 14:6
-
Ephesians 1:3
Autonomy of Local Chrcuh
Each church is considered an independent and selfgoverning body. As a local community of faith we are only accountable to Jesus Christ. We govern our own affairs, including doctrine, leadership, and finances.

-
1 Peter 5:1-3
-
Acts 14:23
Soul Competency
This principle asserts that all believers have direct access to God through Jesus Christ.
There is no need for an intermediary priest or minister in the traditional sense, as every believer can enter God's presence directly through prayer and scripture.

Pastor Ronnie Kiehm
Ronnie was born in Orange County California and reared in Orange County Florida. His education includes West Orange High School (Winter Garden, Florida), Carson-Newman College (Jefferson City, Tennessee), and Southern Seminary (Louisville, Kentucky).
He recently moved to The Villages in Florida to be closer to his congregation and to take a deeper dive into the rhythms and opportunities of the community.
Ronnie knows which end of golf club and fishing rod to use and enjoys both whether the birdies are rolling in or the fish are biting. If the conditions are just right you may find him riding some waves in New Smyrna Beach. He enjoys hearing and telling a good story or joke.

Mary Childs
I love being a part of and attending Living Stones Baptist Church because we are a very closely knit group, and we always seem to have each other’s back and care about each other. I also like the sermons and the way our Pastor preaches and teaches us lessons that are helpful in our lives. There is always a message there each week to help us along our way.
